2023 The Northeast
(Maine, New Brunswick and Quebec)
Part 2 of 2

Campobello Island, New Brunswick

Roosevelt Campobello International Park
With a guide, we explored Franklin and Eleanor’s summer home during the early years of the 20th century. The centerpiece of this memorial is the 34-room “cottage” filled with well-preserved original Roosevelt family furnishing.

Maine and New Hampshire

 Acadia National Park
With mountains next to the ocean, all of Acadia has spectacular scenery. However, even after Labor Day the area continued to be very busy.

After stopping overnight to visit Colorado ski friends in New Hampshire, we spent one long day traveling home.

Enjoy this spectacular sunset from our campsite in the far eastern part of Quebec in the town of Cap Chat on the Gulf of St Lawrence.
